Feeling Better Now

I am feeling much better these days. We are out for the rest of the week for Spring break...YEAH!!! I need a break! I have been doing really well in school. Yesterday I had a math/algebra test. I made a 99!!!! This morning I had a Microbiology quiz and made 10 out of 10...PERFECT!! I also made a 20 out of 20 on a Micro lecture test last week. Whew-Whoo!!!! That makes me very happy!

Today we finished up our "Unknown Organism" report. That was interesting. I ended up with Bacillus cereus or B. cereus. It was fun doing all the tests and marking down the results to finally learn what was in my test tube! I think the entire class enjoyed doing the project.

I have had to break down and buy some new clothes. My old ones are not fitting me...too tight. I have been wanting to get out and walk. But, the temperatures here are getting hot and none of my shorts fit me. So, I bought some shorts and some t-shirts. Also, a couple of nicer looking tops for work, church, etc. I want to lose weight but I just don't have the motivation. I don't know if I'll ever get motivated.

My seven-year-old daughter and I are leaving today or tomorrow morning to go to my Mom's house. My sister is flying in tomorrow. We are all going to see The Lion King on stage. I am so excited about it. It should be absolutely fabulous.

I turned in my scholarship application. I think I have a good chance of getting one or more. I won't know until next month though.

This summer I won't be going to school. So, I am trying to figure out what I will do with my free time. I want to do some volunteer work. Any suggestions out there? Anyone reading this???

Well, I have a ton of stuff to do before we can leave. I just wanted to decompress a little before plunging into the packing!!!

Oh, also, my Mom has some awful virus. Has been to the ER twice this past weekend, to her general doc yesterday and still feels horrible today. So, I have really afraid my daughter, me or my sister is going to end up catching it. I am taking my lysol. We will be washing our hands...ALOT! I sure hope Mom gets better so she can go to the show!
